HiveLive is a new service in public beta that works a little like LiveJournal or Orkut (make networks of your friends) but throws in easy templates for structured data, like lists, forms, and other data. The idea is that you create a template (recipes, shopping lists, brainstorming, email account passwords...) and then share it with the world, your friends, or a smaller hand-picked group. Could be a useful piece of roommate-ware for keeping track of the bills, shared accounts, router passwords, etc

I haven't used it, but DemsLink has been described to me as a low-cost full service campaign management suite. It integrates voter file management and constituent management. Developed for Florida Democratic campaigns; not sure if used by anyone outside of Florida.

Last.FM is similar to Pandora, in that it lets you list the music you listen to and suggests new music based on what you like -- giving you an instant Internet radio station of your favorite music. Where it differs is that it is entirely built on the "knowledge" of the social network -- unlike Pandora's algorithms, Last.FM calculates "related" music based on what the community judges to be related. Whereas Pandora requires you to input your favorite music, Last.FM simply listens to what you're playing.
